BROCKPORT, N.Y. – The D'Youville University women's track and field team put together a solid showing in the second day of the Brockport Multi on Saturday.

The Saints saw lots of success in the field events. In the long jump, freshman
Jenna Capolupo (Wheatfield, N.Y.) finished in second place with a personal record of 5.68m. With her stellar performance, Capolupo has provisionally qualified for nationals in the long jump. In the high jump, freshman Madison Macneill
(West Seneca, N.Y.) took home first place, jumping 1.54m, a new personal record. Sophomore
Kelly Lucas (Fredonia, N.Y.) finished seventh with a jump of 1.44m.

In the 5000m, freshman
Lily Schulz (Lockport, N.Y.) set a new personal record with a time of 19:57.03 and finishing in ninth.

In the mile, senior Rachael Zielinski
(Hamburg, N.Y.) took home third place, clocking a time of 5:16.31. Freshman
Mara Mariani (West Seneca, N.Y.) clocked a time of 6:02.78, and sophomore
Lexie Hillman (Alden, N.Y.) came in right behind her with a time of 6:09.81.

In the 400m, Macneill and freshman Minna Cederman-Kobayaski each set new personal records, as Macneill ran a 1:05.95 and Cederman-Kobayashi ran a 1:10.40.

In the 60m, Capolupo claimed a fourth place finish with a time of 8.02, tying her personal record.

In the 200m, Capolupo finished in sixth after setting a personal record with a time of 26.80. Freshman
Alyssa Costello (Syracuse, N.Y.) also set a new personal record with a time of 28.81. Sophomore
Aliyah White (Greenville, Ala.) set a personal record as well, clocking a time of 30.84.

In the 600m, Zielinski turned in another stellar performance, finishing in second place with a time of 1:41.26. Mariani took home eleventh and set a new personal record with a time of 1:51.94.

In the 3000m, sophomore
Lainie Smith (Lancaster, N.Y.) clocked a time of 10:46.90, taking home third place and marking a new personal record for her.

The Saints will be back in action on February 18
th, when they travel to New York, New York for the East Coast Conference Championships.
