POTSDAM, N.Y. – The D'Youville men's volleyball team took a dominant 3-0 win over SUNY Potsdam Friday evening. Jacob Malak paced the Saints with 15 kills, while Tymek Brzoza and Ian De Wilde were credited with nine and eight, respectively. Randy Adorno earned a team-high 34 assists on the nights, while Malak, De Wilde, and Brzoza each had one service ace.

First Set Notables

• The Saints and Bear went back-and-forth in the first set, but D'Youville ultimately came out on top at 25-15.
• D'Youville pulled away after a service error by the Bears, putting the Saints up 12-9 and helping them go on a 6-0 run before SUNY Potsdam was able to respond with two quick points.
• Malak, Brzoza, and De Wilde paced the Saints with three kills apiece, Anthony Dean was credited with two kills.
• Adorno earned 10 assists in the first set of action, Dean was credited with one.

Second Set Notables

• The Bears fought hard in the second set, but the Saints took it at 25-21.
• It was neck-and-neck through the entire set, with the Saints taking the win off a kill from De Wilde at 24-21, following by an attack error from the Bears to seal the second set victory.
• Adorno was credited with 11 assists in the second set.
• Malak paced the Saints in the second set with seven kills, while Brzoza had three and De Wilde had two.
• Nick Garbacz and Dean worked together for one team block.

Third Set Notables

• D'Youville took the third and final set at 25-22.
• Malak paced the Saints in kills in the third set with five. Brzoza and De Wilde each had three, while Dean and Garbacz were credited with two apiece.
• Adorno earned 13 assists.
• Brzoza and Garbacz were credited with two and one solo block, respectively.
• Brzoza served up one ace in the final set.
