Club Sports
Club sports offer students at D'Youville University an alternative to intramural sports and intercollegiate athletics.
All clubs are self-administered by elected student officers and are primarily self-supported by membership dues, fundraising activities, donor contributions and sponsorships. It is the responsibility of students to coordinate activities, classes, practices, employment of a coach, competition schedules, tournaments, transportation, publicity and all other factors of a successful operation.
D'Youville club sports may range in size and structure, offering a variety of opportunities to individuals looking to participate.

After your initial meeting with the DWR, you are encouraged to hold an "Interest Meeting," to help determine the interest level across campus.
Moving forward, the group will continue to work with the DWR, submitting the following materials throughout the process:
- Cover Letter
- state the club sport's desire to seek University recognition
- illustrate how the organization will be beneficial to the campus community
- describe how the mission of the University will be displayed through the organization's operations
- Include a list of resources the organization will need initially to be successful, including practice/competition space, time, equipment, transportation needs, etc.
- Potential League/Conference membership and/or other intercollegiate competition opportunities
- Draft of Bylaws for the Club Sport
- Potential Roster with a minimum of 8 interested students, their email addresses, class and major listed
- Name of faculty/staff advisor (Moderator) and/or potential Coach
