BROCKPORT, N.Y. – The D'Youville University women's track and field team posted strong results at day two of the Brockport Multi on Saturday.

Junior
Lainie Smith (Lancaster, N.Y.) continued her stellar season with a first-place finish in the mile, clocking a personal record time of 5:14.04. Sophomore
Lily Schulz (Lockport, N.Y.) also ran well, placing tenth with a time of 5:46.04. Junior
Lexie Hillman (Alden, N.Y.) finished 23
rd with a time of 5:54.43 and sophomore
Barbara Kunz placed 30
th and set a personal record with a time of 6:02.85.

In the 600m, senior
Sevilla Groebe (Gilbert, Ariz.) took home a third-place finish and set a personal record with a time of 1:46.92. Freshman
Taylor Bond (Rushman, N.Y.) placed tenth with a time of 1:58.21.

In the 400m, Groebe set a personal record again on her way to a sixth-place finish, clocking a time of 1:02.05. Sophomore
Madison MacNeill (West Seneca, N.Y.) wasn't far behind Groebe, placing 11
th and also setting a personal record with a time of 1:02.71. Freshmen
Gabrielle Tripi (West Seneca, N.Y.) and Bond finished 22
nd and 26
th, respectively.

Smith set another personal record in the 800m, finishing sixth with a time of 2:27.57. Schulz placed 34
th with a time of 2:48.81.

The Saints tallied two top-ten finishes in the high jump. MacNeill took fourth with a score of 1.54m and junior
Kelly Lucas (Fredonia, N.Y.) placed ninth with a personal record score of 1.49m.

In the 3000m, Hillman placed 14
th out of 23 runners with a time of 11:42.12, a new personal record.

In the 200m, Tripi finished 15
th in a field of fifty-two runners with a time of 28.29. MacNeill came in close behind her, finishing 18
th with a time of 28.55. These were personal records for both Tripi and MacNeill.
Kelly Lucas placed 44
th with a time of 30.87 and redshirt sophomore
Julia Sponable finished 52
nd with a time of 37.99.

D'Youville will close out their indoor schedule next weekend when they compete in the ECC Indoor Championships on Sunday at 4:00 p.m.
