PITTSBURGH, Pa. – The D'Youville University Women's Bowling team finished in seventh place out of ten teams in the La Roche Unicorn Classic on Sunday.
The Saints competed in five baker format matches in Pittsburgh on Sunday. D'Youville started off the day on a high note with back-to-back wins. The Saints took on the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford and came out victorious with a final score of 847 pins to 749 pins. DYU then went on to defeat Penn State Behrend 842 pins to 817 pins.
Saint Vincent College and Lewis University battle D'Youville next and both defeated the Saints, but D'Youville finished the day strong with an 856 to 816 pin victory over Ursuline College.
D'Youville finished with a 3-2 overall record on the day knocking down 4,256 total pins with an average game of 170.2.
