SLIPPERY ROCK, PA – The D'Youville University women's track and field team competed at the Dave Labor Invitational at Slippery Rock University on Saturday.

Lydia Smith (Williamsport, Pa.) turned in a stellar performance in the 3000m steeplechase, finishing second with a time of 11:41.36.

In the 800m,
Raechel Zielinski (Hamburg, N.Y.) took home a third-place finish and set a new personal record with a time of 2:19.94.
Lainie Smith (Lancaster, N.Y.) finished thirtieth out of 68 runners with a time of 2:36.29.

Sevilla Groebe (Gilbert, Ariz.) placed fourth in the 400m hurdles with a time of 1:07.98.

In the 200m,
Jenna Capolupo (Wheatfield, N.Y.) placed eighth with a time of 25.96.
Alyssa Costello (Syracuse, N.Y.) turned in a solid performance in the 200 with a time of 28.35.

Lainie Smith finished 27
th out of 79 runners in the 1500m with a time of 5:14.57.
Mara Mariani (West Seneca, N.Y.) placed 39
th with a time of 5:29.04.
Lexie Hillman (Alden, N.Y.) placed 46
th with a time of 5:36.30.

In the long jump, Capolupo brought home a fourth-place finish with a score of 5.27m.

In the high jump, Madison Macneill
(West Seneca, N.Y.) placed 11
th with a score of 1.50m.
Lydia Smith placed 16
th with a score of 1.45m.

D'Youville will be back in action next Friday when they compete in the Brockport Multi hosted by SUNY Brockport.
