Williamsville, NY - The D'Youville women's tennis team completed the home portion of their 2015 schedule on Friday evening after being defeated by the visiting Penn State-Behrend Lions 9-0.

Gillian Wittig (Depew, NY/Depew) and Courtney Fox (Buffalo, NY/Tapestry Charter School) competed as the top doubles pairing for the Spartans and as the one and two singles players. Krista Cornell (Tonawanda, NY/Kenmore East) played as the third singles player for D'Youville and played well as she has done all season long.

Bryannia Sutton (Mexico, NY/Mexico), Nicole Gilforte (Tonawanda, NY/Kenmore East) and Michaela McMahon (Grand Island, NY/Grand Island) all played for Spartans as well.

The next match for D'Youville comes on Saturday morning at Pitt.-Bradford.
