TAMPA, Fla. — DYouville (5-4) fell to the University of Tampa (4-5) by a score of 6-1 on Wednesday at the Tampa Tennis Complex.

Miranda Bosch recorded a 6-3, 1-6, 7-6 (7-2) win at No. 5 singles, earning the Saints lone point in a day of tightly contested matches.

Tampa secured the doubles point with a sweep, securing victories on all three courts to take the early momentum from the Saints.

In singles play, Tampa extended its lead with Axelsson defeating Erika Ismailova 6-1, 6-3 on court 3. Alexandra Chebli added another point for Tampa with a 6-1, 6-2 win over Victoria Campisi on court 6. The match was decided on court 1 where Presley secured the victory for Tampa with a 6-4, 6-2 win over Ashurbekova.

Kulidjian claimed a 6-3, 7-6 (7-4) win on court 2 over Nele Herbst, while Bosch picked up the sole singles victory for her team with a three-set win, 6-3, 1-6, 7-6 (7-2), over Gabi Sanchez on court 5. Lippens closed the match with a 7-5, 3-6, 10-6 win over Mina Randjelovic on court 4.

With this match, the Saints Florida road trip comes to a conclusion. They'll have some time to recover before conference play continues March 23rd at St. Thomas Aquinas.
