Williamsville, NY- D'Youville's women's tennis team opened the 2013 season with a home match against visiting Penn St.- Altoona. Although the Spartans were not able to open the season with a victory, they look forward to improving in their next match.

Returning for this season is last year's team MVP Jessica Lampka (Lancaster, NY / Lancaster) along with Sophomores K'nicia King (New Rochelle, NY / New Rochelle) and Courtney Fox (Buffalo, NY / Tapestry Charter School). New to the team this season is D'Youville's women's volleyball three-time MVP Luciana Payne (Buffalo, NY / Mount St. Mary's).

The Spartans are back at it tomorrow, September 15th at 1pm against the visiting team from Mt. Aloysius. The match will take place at the Miller Tennis Center located at 5959 Sheridan Dr. Williamsville, N.Y.
