Cresson, PA (9/19/10)-The D'Youville College women's tennis team swept the board for a perfect 9-0 win at Mount Aloysius. The win marked the first time the women's tennis program recorded a shutout and the Spartans are a perfect 4-0 to start the season.

All six D'Youville players won in their singles match and combined to win all three doubles matches. Participating for D'Youville: Samantha Rowen (East Amherst, NY/Williamsville East), Melissa Kanalley (Tonawanda, NY/Cardinal O'Hara, Jessica Lampka (Lancaster, NY/Lancaster), Ali Mascioletti (Hilton, NY/Hilton), Bridgette O'Leary (Camden, NY/Camden), and Angela Poblocki (Akron, NY/Akron).

D'Youville won both matches on their weekend road trip, winning 17 of a possible 18 matches.

The Spartans are tied for the AMCC lead and have a showdown at co-leader Penn State Behrend Friday September 24th.
