ALTOONA, Pa. – The D'Youville women's bowling team finished sixth after three days of matches at the Red Flash Invitational hosted by St. Francis University (Pa.). Two Saints placed in the top-30 individually. Emmalie Rome led the way, placing 26th, while Makayla Pasierb placed 28th.
Team Finish
- The Saints went 7-5 this weekend, picking up 11,131 total pins.
- D'Youville's best game came in the fifth traditional match, as the team had 890 pins in a win over LaRoche.
- The Saints picked up wins over Bloomfield (865-817) and Penn State Altoona (838-595).
Individual Finish
- Rome finished with 854 through five games. Her best game in the fifth match, as the Buffalo, N.Y. native picked up 184 pins. Rome had two more games over 180 pins.
- Pasierb finished with 839 total pins through five games. She picked up 198 pins in the fourth traditional match.
- Olivia Corbett finished just outside the top-30 at 32nd with an 832 through five games.
- The Saints' best match came from Emily Williams, and the Colden, N.Y. native picked up 222 pins in match five. Her 222 pins tied for the ninth-best match in the entire tournament.
