GREENWOOD, Ind. – Six D'Youville University women's student-athletes have been named to the 2024-25 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team for Division II.
Megan Kapsiak (Lancaster, N.Y./Lancaster) and
Alyssa Mankowski (Hamburg, N.Y./Frontier) of women's bowling, along with
Brinn Stworzydlak (Hamburg, N.Y./Frontier),
Madison Handley (Lancaster, N.Y./Lancaster),
Madison Buck (Rochester, N.Y./Churchville Chili), and
Lauren Parker (Syracuse, N.Y./Jamesville-DeWitt) of women's lacrosse, received honors.
To be up for consideration, academically the student-athlete must be at least a sophomore as well as having at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average. Athletically, each student-athlete must have played in at least 90 percent of the team's games or started in 66 percent of the team's games.
The 2020-25 Academic All-District Men's At-Large Team, selected by the College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in the field of play and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions – NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA.
