COLONIA, NJ – For each ECC sport in its conference portion of the season, the league office will determine an ECC Game of the Week to highlight the competitive spirit within the East Coast Conference. 
 
This week's men's and women's soccer and women's volleyball Game of the Week selections for the week of September 21-27 will be streamed on FloCollege. 
 
Men's Soccer
Molloy at D'Youville – Saturday, September 26

The Molloy Lions travel to face the D'Youville Saints this Saturday at Dobson Field in Buffalo, NY, with kickoff set for 3:00 PM. A Saints defense that has allowed just two goals in its last four matches will go up against a Lions offense that has scored eight goals in its last two outings.


Entering the week, Molloy owns a 3-1-2 overall record (1-0-0 ECC), unbeaten in its last four matches and coming off of a 7-1 conference win over Daemen at home this past Saturday, September 19. ECC Weekly Honor Roll selections sophomore midfielder Jack Veletanga (1g, 1a vs. Daemen) and freshman forward Mael Pierre Paul (1g, 2a vs. Daemen) sit seventh and eighth, respectively, in the conference in total points with seven (2g, 3a) and five (1g, 3a) while ECC Weekly Honor Roll selection senior goalkeeper Anthony Martinez tops the conference with a .900 save percentage and sits second in saves per game (6.00) and goals against average (.67). The Lions will first head to St. Thomas Aquinas for conference play this afternoon at 4:00 PM before facing D'Youville on Saturday. 


Entering the week, D'Youville sits at 2-3-3 overall (0-0-1 ECC), unbeaten in three of its last four matches and coming off of a scoreless draw in the ECC opener at Staten Island this past Saturday, September 19. Senior forward Ethan Robinson (Scarborough, Ontario / Neil McNeil) tops the conference in shots (26) and ranks second in shots on goal (16) along with a DYU-leading three goals on the season, which ties for fifth in the ECC. Junior forward Dylan Danch (Erie, Pa. / Cathedral Preparatory) leads the Saints and ties for ninth in the conference with two assists while junior goalkeeper Matthew Solorio (Kansas City, MO / Oak Park) has posted an ECC-leading four shutouts in seven opportunities. The Saints are coming off a 1-0 win over ECC opponent, University of the District of Columbia on Wednesday afternoon. 


Women's Soccer
Molloy at D'Youville – Saturday, September 26

The Molloy Lions travel to face the D'Youville Saints this Saturday at Dobson Field in Buffalo, NY, with kickoff set for noon. A Saints defense that has allowed just one goal across two matches last week will go up against a Lions offense that has exploded for three or more goals three times on the season, including 14 across a three-day span against Goldey-Beacom (8-0 W) and Caldwell (6-1 W) back at the start of September. 


Entering the week, Molloy owns a 3-4-1 overall record (1-0-0 ECC) with a one-game winning streak after blanking Daemen, 3-0, at home this past Saturday, September 19. ECC Weekly Honor Roll selections senior midfielder Bella Juliano (1g, 1a vs. Daemen) and junior forward Jana Strait (2g vs. Daemen) are two of four Lions who bolster Molloy's offense as Juliano (12p/4g, 4a), senior midfielder Isabella Muro (9p/3g, 3a), Strait (8p/4g), and freshman midfielder/forward Ysabelle Perillo (8/3g, 2a) sit in the ECC's top five for total points. Senior goalkeeper Elyse Muñoz ties for second in the conference in shutouts with a pair to go with a 1.50 goals against average. The Lions will first host Pace this afternoon at 4:00 PM before facing D'Youville on Saturday. 


Entering the week, D'Youville sits at 3-3-1 overall (1-0-0 ECC) with a two-game winning streak, including a 2-1 win in the ECC opener at Staten Island this past Saturday, September 19. The Saints took home a trio of ECC weekly awards as freshman defender Sophia Hobson (Duvall, Wash. / Cedarcrest) was tabbed the Defensive Player of the Week, junior goalkeeper Alegra Black (Toronto, Ontario / Rabun Gap) was selected the Goalkeeper of the Week, and freshman forward Emily Stefik (Lewiston, N.Y. / Lewiston-Porter Senior) was named the Rookie of the Week. Stefik leads DYU with a pair of goals on the year while Black has been solid in net, sitting third in the conference with an .813 save percentage to go with a 1.50 goals against average. The Saints are off until Saturday's match-up against Molloy.
