COLONIA, N.J. – With the conclusion of the men's lacrosse season, the East Coast Conference has announced their yearly award earlier this morning.
 
D'Youville University men's lacrosse earned two all-conference nods this season with Obrigh Tallchief and Graham Sholett both being named to the second team.
 
Obrigh Tallchief – Second Team All-Conference
Tallchief was a key contributor to the Saints offense this season, leading the team in points with 37 (25 goals, 12 assists). Tallchief averaged just under three points per game, ranking him 10th in the conference and averaged just under two goals per game, ranking seventh in the conference. Tallchief led the team in game-winning goals with two while finishing second on the team in man-up goals with three.
 
Tallchief had his biggest offensive game coming against Holy Family University, going for a season-high seven points and a season-high three assists. Tallchief saw his biggest goal scoring game come against St. Thomas Aquinas where he scored five goals. Tallchief also provided extra opportunities for his team during that game, grabbing eight groundballs. On the year, Tallchief grabbed 26 groundballs.
 
Tallchief was named ECC Offensive Player of the Week once during the season while being named to the Honor Roll twice.
 
Graham Sholett – Second Team All-Conference
Sholett was nice addition to the team this year as the freshman found his role early, leading the team in goals scored with 26. Sholett averaged just under two goals scored per game, ranking him ninth in the conference. Sholett was second on the team with 37 points accounted for, just behind Tallchief. Sholett also was first in the team in game-winning goals as well.
 
Sholett's biggest offensive output came against the University of the District of Columbia, going for seven points as well as a season-high six goals. Sholett had a season-high two assists coming against American International College. On the defensive end, Sholett has his best game against Point Park University, causing three turnovers while grabbing six groundballs.
 
On the year, Sholett was named Rookie of the Week two times, Offensive Player of the Week once, and was named to the USILA Team of the Week once on the season.
