COLONIA, N.J. – With the season around the corner, the East Coast Conference Men's Lacrosse Coaches Preseason Poll has dropped, and D'Youville University is picked to finish fifth this upcoming season.
 
The Saints are coming off a 6-8 season a year ago and a 2-4 record in conference play. D'Youville was on the outside looking in and will be looking to make their first ECC Tournament berth under the direction of fourth-year head coach Jack Wilson.
 
DYU returns 17 players from last year's team including record holders Stefano Evan, Logan Schwartz, and Casey Berns. The team welcomes 11 freshmen and three transfers.
 
D'Youville starts the season this Sunday, February 1st, as they travel to Davis & Elkins College. The Saints will welcome Malone University on Wednesday, February 25th, for the team's home opener.
