Men's Lacrosse Travels to No. 5 Mercy for a Sunday Afternoon Game

BUFFALO, N.Y. – Closing out the 2024 season, the D'Youville University men's lacrosse team will travel to take in No. 5 Mercy University Sunday afternoon.

The Saints (2-13, 1-4 ECC) gave No. 16 Frostburg State University all they could handle last Saturday in a 14-10 defeat. DYU was led by Nick Sholett (Vestal, N.Y.) with a career-high six goals to go along with one assist. Luciano Gonzalez (Colquitlam, British Columbia) finished the day with three points (1 goal, 2 assists) with Carsyn Kent (Whitby, Ontario) adding two goals. Tyler Vohwinkel (Buffalo, N.Y.) added the other goal for DYU.
 
Logan Schwartz (Depew, N.Y.) continued his strong season with five groundballs and five caused turnovers. Jordan Brown (Baltimore, Md.) also had five groundballs on the day.
 
William Nichols (Palmyra, N.Y.) went the distance in net, making 13 saves in the game.
