LOWELL, MASS. – The D'Youville University women's track and field team competed at the Riverhawk Invitational hosted by UMass-Lowell on Friday.
Jenna Capolupo (Wheatfield, N.Y.) turned in another solid performance with the Saints, finishing ninth out of 69 runners in the 60m dash with a time of 8.08.
Alyssa Costello (Syracuse, N.Y.) clocked a time of 8.78 in the same event.
Skylar Savage (Attica, N.Y.) finished fifteenth out of 45 runners in the 60m hurdles with a time of 10.04.
Meya McKown also competed in the 60m hurdles, finishing with a time of 10.92.
In the 200m dash, Capolupo clocked a time of 26.98, Costello a 29.78, Madison Macneill
(West Seneca, N.Y.) a 29.96, and
Anastasiia Horova a 30.57.
In the 1000m run,
Lydia Smith (Williamsport, Pa.) finished with a time of 3:18.85.
In the 1600m relay, the Saints' team of Savage, Smith, Macneill, and
Sevilla Groebe (Gilbert, Ariz.) turned in a time of 4:37.18.
In the long jump, Savage finished 34
th out of 72 participants with a score of 5.08m. In the triple jump, Savage jumped 10.16m.
In the high jump, Smith jumped 1.48m,
Kelly Lucas (Fredonia, N.Y.) jumped 1.43m, and Macneill jumped 1.38m.
The Saints will be back in action next week, when they compete in the Brockport Multi at SUNY Brockport.
