ROCHESTER, NY- The D'Youville University men's lacrosse team competed against the Redhawks of Roberts Wesleyan University that didn't go the Saints way, 24-4.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS

• Nick Sholett did all he could for the Saints finishing with two goals, Tristan Engelhardt wrapped up his evening recording one goal and two assists, and Steve Lucas had one goal.

FIRST QUARTER

• At 11:09 Sholett got the Saints on the board early which allowed for a standstill between them and the Redhawks, 1-1.
• By the end RWU started to get themselves situated into the game as they went on a 5-0 run to finish things off, 6-1.

SECOND QUARTER

• This quarter had the Redhawks written all over it as their defense stood stout making sure no DYU goals were scored as they managed to bury 10 goals stretching the lead out to as much as 15 goals going into the half, 16-1.

THIRD QUARTER

• Things started to flow for the Saints as they were only behind the Redhawks in the quarter by one goal, 3-2.
• The final goal for DYU was scored in the final second of play by Sholett, 19-3

FOURTH QUARTER

• Saints jumped out to a quick start as they got on the scoreboard first with Lucas scoring at 13:35 to get the quarter started, 19-4.
• From that point on is where the Redhawks asserted themselves once again recording an additional five goals that would make their win a convincing one, 24-4.
