Box Score FROSTBURG, MD- The D'Youville University men's lacrosse team dropped their game on the road to the Bobcats of Frostburg St. University, 30-3 from Bobcat Stadium.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
FIRST QUARTER
- 11:46 of the quarter belonged to the Bobcats as they scored eight straight goals without DYU being unable to retaliate, 8-0.
- Engelhardt in the last 22 seconds made use of the man-up opportunity putting one in the back of the net, 8-1.
- Quarter was concluded with one final FSU goal, 9-1.
SECOND QUARTER
- Similar start to things for FSU as they pursued another 8-0 run that took up 9:46 of the game clock, 17-1.
- At 5:15 Engelhardt knew to make the most out of the man-up opportunity bestowed to the Saints scoring a DYU goal, 17-2.
- DYU's scoring efforts were put on hold for the remainder of the quarter as the Bobcats showed no signs of letting up scoring three additional goals before going into the half, 20-2.
THIRD QUARTER
- This quarter had the Bobcats written all over it with no DYU goals to be scored but still looked to push their pace scoring four consecutive goals that the Saints had no answer for to stop the onslaught, 24-2.
FOURTH QUARTER
- With no signs of slowing down in the slightest bit FSU scored the first three goals of the quarter, 27-2.
- Man-up opportunities treated the Saints well as it looked to be where their goals were coming from as Sholett secured another goal for the Saints which was their third off man-up opportunities, 28-3.
- Two more goals were scored by the Bobcats that put an end to the game, 30-3.

The Saints look to get back on track Wednesday, Apr. 5 at 4:00 p.m. against the Storm of Lake Erie College from Dobson Field.
