General

ECC Players of the Week | Mar. 23-29

COLONIA, N.J. – It was another strong outing for the Saints this past weekend, having 10 student-athletes earn ECC Honor Roll honors for the week of March 23-29.

Lauren Parker, Women's Lacrosse – ECC Honor Roll
Parker had a busy appearance in D'Youville's lone game this week against No. 3 University of Indianapolis. Lauren recorded 11 draw controls, highest of anyone in the game, while being the lone Saint participating in the draw control against a rotation that included an All-American. She also tacked on a caused turnover and a couple of ground balls that completed an all-around defensive performance against the No. 3 team in the country.

Sam Newlin, Women's Lacrosse – ECC Honor Roll
Newlin had a strong all-around performance in D'Youville's loss against #3 University of Indianapolis. Newlin recorded two goals, one that came with a beautiful spin move to lose the defender to put in the net. Additionally, she recorded a ground ball, a caused turnover, and two draw controls that rounded her performance this week.

Kaylee Farias, Women's Lacrosse – ECC Honor Roll
Farias faced one of the best offenses in the country in her lone appearance against No. 3 University of Indianapolis. She faced 29 shots on goal, saving eight of them and looked as comfortable as she has all season in her freshman campaign. She added three ground balls and two forced turnovers while playing the whole game in net for the Saints.

Logan Schwartz, Men's Lacrosse – ECC Honor Roll
Schwartz had a strong defensive game for the Saints, causing five turnovers and grabbing seven groundballs in the team's game against Frostburg State University this past Saturday.

Frankie Morris, Softball – ECC Honor Roll
