ALLIANCE, Ohio — D'Youville delivered a strong all-around performance at the open tournament in Alliance, Ohio, producing three individual champions and numerous podium finishes across the lineup.
Alyssa Sedillo paced the Saints at 103 pounds, claiming first place with an impressive 2-0 showing. Sedillo opened competition with a technical fall at the 1:34 mark in her opening bout before closing out the title with a fall at 1:13 in the championship match. Alessandre Elliot followed with a dominant effort at 145 pounds, finishing a perfect 3-0 to secure first place, while Eliza Stricklin added another championship performance at 207 pounds by going 2-0 in her bracket.
D'Youville also picked up multiple runner-up finishes. Annika Lopez placed second at 117 pounds with a 2-1 record, while Madison Wellen earned a second-place finish at 131 pounds. Saniyah Ward added another podium result at 138 pounds, placing second after posting a 2-1 mark. Riley Wentlent continued the strong showing at 180 pounds with a second-place finish.
Several Saints rounded out the scoring with third-place finishes. Ollie Ridling placed third at 117 pounds after going 3-1, Shelby Galex finished third at 145 pounds with a 2-1 record, and Shaelie Young added a third-place result at 180 pounds. Alexis Brua placed fourth at 124 pounds, while Emma Beckles and Brigid Hatton tied for fourth at 160 pounds.
