NEW ORLEANS, La. – In the week six edition of the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association Regional Rankings, the D'Youville University women's cross country team slipped two spots, coming in at No. 7 for the week.
The Saints are coming off at third-place finish of in the East Coast Conference Championships, tying their best finish in the conference meet in program history.
DYU had a pair of runners earn Second Team All-Conference in
Lilianna Peters and
Lily Schulz, both placing in the top-14. Peters crossed the finish line with a time of 19:47.1 to place ninth. Schulz was the next Saint to cross the finish line, placing 11th with a time of 19:52.9.
D'Youville will next look to have a strong showing at the NCAA DII East Regional Championship on November 8th. The race will take place in Hopkington, N.H., hosted by Franklin Pierce University.
