BUFFALO, NY – The D'Youville University women's track and field team competed at the UB Alumni Invitational on Saturday, finishing fourth out of nine teams.

In the 400m,
Raechel Zielinski (Hamburg, N.Y.) took home a second-place finish with a personal record time of 1:02.28. Zielinski also set a personal record in the 1500m and finished fourth with a time of 4:44.61.

In the 3000m steeplechase,
Lydia Smith (Williamsport, Pa.) turned in a second-place finish and set a personal record with a time of 11:32.65.

In the 100m hurdles,
Skylar Savage (Attica, N.Y.) turned in a seventh-place finish and set a personal record with a time of 16.31. Also setting a personal record in the 100m hurdles was
Meya McKown with a time of 17.28.

In the 400m hurdles,
Sevilla Groebe (Gilbert, Ariz.) tallied an eighth-place finish with a time of 1:13.16.

In the 800m,
Mara Mariani (West Seneca, N.Y.) set a new personal record with a time of 2:34.72, which was good for an eighteenth-place finish. Finishing right behind her in nineteenth was
Lexie Hillman (Alden, N.Y.), who also set a personal record with a time of 2:39.62.

In the 200m,
Alyssa Costello (Syracuse, N.Y.) finished seventeenth and set a new personal record with a time of 28.56.
Aliyah White (Greenville, Ala.) also set a personal record in the 200 with a time of 14.12.

In the 4x400 relay, the Saints' team of Groebe, Savage, Zielinski, and Madison Macneill
(West Seneca, N.Y.) came in third with a time of 4:17.15.

In the high jump, Macneill finished third with a score of 1.55m and
Kelly Lucas (Fredonia, N.Y.) came in fifth with a score of 1.45m.

In the long jump, Savage notched a seventh-place finish with a score of 4.87m.

D'Youville will cap off their season next week, when they compete in the ECC Championships in Rochester, New York on May 2
