Baseball Hosts Staten Island at Sal Maglie This Weekend

BUFFALO – The D'Youville University baseball team is back home this weekend as they host the College of Staten Island for a four-game set at Sal Maglie Stadium.

Last Time Out
The Saints split a four-game series with St. Thomas Aquinas last weekend, winning the first two games of the series by scores of 12-8 and 11-7. In their 12-8 victory in game one, six different Saints turned in multi-hit games. Alec Boucher (Essex, Ontario) went 3-for-4 with a triple and two RBI. Ethan Hammond (Oakville, Ontario) also picked up three hits and two RBI for DYU. Sam Worthen (Guelph, Ontario) closed out the game for the Saints and converted his ECC-leading ninth save opportunity. In their 11-7 game two win, Billy Morris (Lancaster, N.Y.) and Jeremy Glinski (Sloan, N.Y.) had monster offensive outputs for DYU. Morris tallied a season-high four hits with a double and an RBI. Glinski clubbed a pair of three-run homers, including the go-ahead homer in the top of the seventh, and drove in six runs.
