Women's Lacrosse Heads North for Two Games

Plays Franklin Pierce Friday; Saint Anselm Saturday

BUFFALO, N.Y. – Hitting the road out to the Northeast, the D'Youville University women's lacrosse team will travel to play Franklin Pierce University on Friday and have a quick turnaround to face No. 21 Saint Anselm College Saturday afternoon.

The Saints (4-5) are coming off a thrilling 11-10 double overtime victory against Molloy University, a team that was receiving votes in the IWLCA DII Poll the previous week, Saturday morning. Sam Newlin (Austin, Texas) led the offense with five goals and Sydney Gordon (Hamburg, N.Y.) had four goals including the game-winner.
