The Saints split a doubleheader against The College of Saint Rose on Sunday. In game one, 1B Jon Simpson (Grand Island, N.Y.) clubbed his sixth home run of the season for DYU's lone run in their 6-1 loss. The Saints' offense came alive in game two, putting up ten runs. SS Billy Morris (Lancaster, N.Y.) belted a three-run homer, his first of the season to give them an early 4-2 lead. Simpson tacked on another run with an RBI double in the fifth inning. 3B Blaise Kolbert (Lancaster, N.Y.) followed Simpson with a two-run bomb, his second home run of the weekend, to extend the lead to 8-4. RHP Samuel Worthen (Guelph, Ontario) earned his second save of the season after throwing 2.2 scoreless innings to secure the 10-5 Saints victory.
