WEST BABYLON - The East Coast Conference Academic Team of Excellence Awards for the 2022-23 academic year were announced on Thursday morning.
 
The ECC Academic Team of Excellence Award is presented to the team with the highest cumulative grade point average in their respective sport. D'Youville University had three teams earn the award this past season with baseball, softball, and women's cross country. Baseball and softball have claimed the award for the consecutive season.
 
Over 80 percent of the conference's teams (115 total) achieved a 3.0 GPA or higher.
