Box Score Staten Island, N.Y. — The D'Youville University baseball team completed their season in Staten Island on Sunday, May 7. The Saints and Dolphins were neck and neck throughout the game. Luckily, a four-run seventh inning pushed DYU past CSI, and D'Youville won their final game of the season.

No action occurred in the first until Alex Dzimian grounded out to second base, giving Hunter Nowak an opportunity to take home. (1-0)

In the top of the third Billy Morris single through the left side, and advanced to second on a fielding error by the infield. Ethan Hammond and Blaise Kolbert both scored bringing the game to 3-0.

In the bottom of the third, CSI struck back with a run and a bases loaded home run taking the lead 5-3.

In the fourth, fifth and sixth DYU fought back with a sacrifice fly, a ground out and a double. (6-5)

In the bottom half of the sixth, Staten Island hit a 2 RBI single that put the Saints down by one. (7-6)

The Saints had enough by the top of the seventh. Craig Oliver brought Jon Simpson home with a home run, Dzimian doubled to center field, letting Nowak score, later advancing to home on a balk. In his next at bat, Dzimian doubled, once again, bringing the score 11-7.

CSI recorded one more run in the bottom of the ninth, but it wasn't enough, and the Saints took the 11-8 victory.
