CARY, N.C. — The Saints went into extra innings at the USA Baseball Training Complex, going 10 innings against the Hawks of Saint Anselm on Sunday, March 5 in Cary, N.C. D'Youville completed the game winning 11-8.

How it Happened

• The Saints scored a run in the top of the first when Ethan Hammond doubled, scoring Billy Morris.

• In the bottom of the fifth, the Hawks hit a two-run homer to take a 2-1 lead.

• In the sixth, Alex Dzimian doubled, pushing Jacob Cooper to third and bringing Craig Oliver home. (2-2)

• Saint Anselm broke ahead in the sixth with a two-run double to right (4-2.)

• In the top of the seventh, Alec Boucher doubled, sending Jeremy Glinski home. In the same inning, Cooper collected 2 RBIs when he brought Boucher and Blaise Kolbert home with a single.(5-4)

• In the seventh, Morris doubled with the bases loaded, plating when Dzimian, Dillon Crook and Cooper scored. (8-4)

• In the eighth, the Hawks tied things up at 8-8 with two doubles.

• In the top of the 10th, Hammond and Morris scored when Glinski doubled.

• Oliver doubled, scoring Glinski, to give the Saints a 11-8 lead

• In the bottom of the 10th, with bases loaded, the Hawks flew out to right field and the Saints took the win 11-8.
