NIAGARA UNIVERSITY, N.Y. — The D'Youville University baseball team faced the Golden Knights of Gannon University at Bobo Field in their first home game of the season. The Saints took the win 7-4 with a walk off HR by Craig Oliver to end the game.

How it Happened 

• The game was quiet until the top of the third, when a single to right field by Gannon made it a 2-0 game

• In the top of the fifth, a triple brought a Golden Knight home (3-0)

• Shortly after, a double made the score 4-0 GU

• With the Saints quiet up until this point, at the bottom of the sixth, Ethan Hammond recorded a home run to the left (4-1)

• In the bottom of the ninth, on a Billy Morris single, Hunter Nowak advanced to second and Caden Strobel brought home another run (4-2)

• On a Jeremy Glinski walk, Nowak scored (4-3)

• With a sacrifice fly by Alec Boucher, Morris tied up the game at four (4-4)

• Finally, with a homerun by Oliver, Glinski, and Hammond came home, giving Oliver 3 RBI. The Saints take the game 7-4
