BUFFALO, NY- The D'Youville University women's lacrosse team claimed victory over the Golden Falcons of Felician University, 15-1 from Dobson Field.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS

• Sydney Gordon lead in the scoring department for the Saints finishing with five goals, Danielle Gephart, Madison Buck, and Madison Handley gathered two goals respectively, and Sam Newlin, Grace Grosso, Jeanna Draves, and Danielle Thompson accounted for one goal each.

FIRST QUARTER

• This quarter had the Saints written all over it taking control by scoring the first six goals of the game.
• DYU goal scores resulted from Gordon, Newlin, Handley, Thompson, and Grosso.
• The performance of the Saints on the defensive end didn't allow any goals to be scored, 6-0.

SECOND QUARTER

• DYU didn't let their foot off the gas as they tacked on three additional goals that made their lead a commanding one, 9-0.
• Repeating the same outcome for the Golden Falcons this quarter as they were no match for the defense of the Saints forcing them to commit five turnovers.
• The Saints had their heads high with all the momentum in their favor going into halftime.

THIRD QUARTER

• The scoring efforts continued into the second half as DYU buried two goals into the back of the net that came from Gordon and Buck, 11-0.
• Felician finally found a way to stop the bleeding by getting on the scoreboard with a goal of their own, 11-1.

FOURTH QUARTER

• There was no answer that the Golden Falcons had for the performance displayed by DYU as the onslaught progressed with the Saints scoring four consecutive goals.
• The struggles on offense continued for the Golden Falcons that the Saints took advantage of which helped them create another scoreless quarter.
