WEST BABYLON, N.Y. – After the second week of play, Nasir Hammonds (Norfolk, Va.) of the D'Youville University men's basketball team has earned East Coast Conference Weekly Honor Roll.

Hammonds continues to have a strong start of the season for the Saints, helping them to a 1-1 record on the week that included a 62-58 win over #25 Mercyhurst University this past Sunday. Against the Lakers, Hammonds had a team-high 15 points to go along with seven rebounds and two steals.
 
In their first game of the week against Wheeling University, Hammonds went for 11 points, eight rebounds, and five assists.
 
This is Hammonds' second time this season being recognized by the ECC, with his first honor coming as Rookie of the Week after the first week of the season.
