Buffalo, N.Y.- The D'Youville university men's basketball team competed in a thriller against the Wildcats of Daemen University falling, 56-53 from the College Center Gym.

STAT OF THE GAME

• Nelson St. Louis paced the offense of the Saints tallying 15 points, five rebounds, and two assists.

FIRST HALF

• Within the first minute of play Bryson Birdsong got things going early on for the Saints with the first basket of the game.
• Several different lead changes took place during the half.
• The biggest lead that occurred during the half consisted of three points.

SECOND HALF

• The Wildcats got on the score board first in the half to get things started.
• At 16:12 the Wildcats led by five until Bryson Birdsong's three-pointer had the Saints behind by only two points, 32-30.
• In the final seconds of the half St.Louis made a three-point shot that had the Saints down by one point, 54-53, with 4 seconds remaining
• DYU had to foul and DAE made both free throws before the Saints's 3/4 court heave came up short.

The Saints will be back in the College Center Gym on Saturday, January 21st at 3 p.m. against the Tigers of Salem University.
