BUFFALO, N.Y.- The D'Youville University men's basketball team competed in their first home game of the season against the Knights of Queens College winning in a, 68-61 victory inside of the College Center Gym.

STAT OF THE MATCH

• Luke Theisen took the lead for the Saints scoring 22 points.

FIRST HALF

• Saints wasted no time getting on the board as they scored in the first minute coming off of a layup from Chase Jenkins.
• Jumped out into an early run of 6-0 with 13:07 remaining.
• Biggest lead for the Saints consisted of 15 points.
• Concluded the first half being up, 30-17.

SECOND HALF

• First three pointer of the half was scored by Theisen having 14:50 left.
• At 4:01 in the game the Saints were in closely contested battles down the stretch being up by as little as four points in the last four minutes of the game. 
• Theisen closed out the game for the Saints by sinking two essential free throws at the line.

Head coach of the men's basketball team Andy Stark had this to say about the Friday night performance, "Excited with the effort and energy our guys played with. The crowd was great and our guys loved playing at home."
