Buffalo, N.Y. - The D'Youville University Women's Soccer Team is away this weekend at St. Thomas Aquinas for a late morning match. Kickoff is at 11A.M. on Oct. 29.

OPENING NOTES

1. The Saints are coming off of a 1-2 loss at home one week ago against Molloy

2. Freshman, Kailie Regan, spent all 90 minutes in net and was awarded USCAA Goalie of the Week

3. Freshman, Eleonora Cecchini, was able to secure her fourth goal of the season and was assisted by fellow Freshman, Jeslyn-Brooke Vallesteros

4. Against Molloy, other shots on goal were made by Lauren Zwolenkiewicz and Hanna Dino and other shots were made by Jordan Pachla, Jillian Bernas and defender Jasmina Barhoumi

5. Head coach Abby Pearson is in her second season at the head of the program. Last year, the Saints went 7-10-2 overall, earning their first win over an NCAA Division II opponent, St. Thomas Aquinas. Joining Pearson on the sidelines are Kyle Cunningham, Corey Nash, Marina Cunningham, and Hannah Gallivan.

6. Three Saints earned USCAA All-America honors last season. Returning from the group is Maggie Leedswho led the team with seven goals.

7. Pearson is welcoming 12 incoming student-athletes to the squad this year, including transfers Tsianna Barnwell and Duval. Barnwell joins the Saints after a four-year stint at NCAA Division I St. Bonaventure.
