GREENWOOD, Ind. – Five D'Youville University women's soccer player has been named to the 2025 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team for Division II, announced Tuesday.
Eleonora Cecchini (San Marino, Fiorentino, Italy/Liceo delle Scienze Umane),
Manta Socada (Helinshi, Finalnd/Duetsche Schule Helsinki),
Hanna Dino (Niagara Falls, Ontario/Saint Paul Catholic),
Laoise O'Haidha (Limerick, Ireland/Gaelcholaiste Luimnigh), and
Ella Hurrle (Jordan Station, Ontario/Eden) were all selected as an All-District honorees.
To be up for consideration, academically the student-athlete must be at least a sophomore as well as having at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average. Athletically, each student-athlete must have played in at least 90 percent of the team's games or started in 66 percent of the team's games.
The 2024 Academic All-District Men's Soccer Team, selected by the College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the diamond and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions – NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA.
