BUFFALO, N.Y. - The D'Youville University Bowling team plays this weekend at the Millie Ignizio Open. They begin play at 8 a.m. on Oct. 15 in Rochester N.Y.

OPENING NOTES

1. D'Youville is coming off of an exciting Day 2 at the Mercyhurst invitational where they won all 5 of their games played 

2. In five games, with an average score of 174, Freshman Bryanna McKee had the highest average on the team putting her in 12 place at the end of the Mercyhurst Invitational

3. In Day two, Makayla Pasierb doubled in the 10th frame for the tournament win over Roberts Wesleyan

4. In Day one of the Mercyhurst invitational, D'Youville was able to secure a total 809 to 641 win against Hilbert

5. The Saints welcome back five to the roster this year, including Most Improved Player, Alyssa Mankowski, and Saint Award recipient, Makayla Pasierb.

6. Pasierb was an outstanding bowler for the Saints last year, earning East Coast Conference Rookie of the Week honors twice.

7. D'Youville welcomes three new faces to the roster in Taylor Just, Megan Kapsiak, and McKee.

8. Susan Jeziorski enters her fourth season at the helm of the program, after being named the first head coach in program history in 2018.

9. Jeziorski is joined by Liz Johnson (second season) and Michelle Sterner (first season).
