HACKENSACK, N.J. – The D'Youville University Women's Bowling team finished the 2025-26 season on day one of the East Coast Conference Championship.
The Saints finished 2-2 on the day after competing in four baker format matches in the double elimination tournament. D'Youville competed in bracket two alongside Roberts Wesleyan University, Adelphi University, and St. Thomas Aquinas College.
The Saints entered the day as the eight seed of nine teams, but quickly found success as they defeated no. 5 seed Roberts Wesleyan University 4-3 in a best of seven game to start the day. The Saints moved on to the no. 4 seeded Adelphi University but struggled as they dropped the match 4-1 to give them their first loss of the day. By way of the bracket, the Saints found themselves in a must win match against the Roberts Wesleyan Redhawks for their third game of the day. D'Youville held tough as they defeated the Redhawks 4-2 to eliminate Roberts Wesleyan from the tournament.
Faced with another matchup against the Adelphi Panthers, the Saints needed to win to stay alive. However, the Panthers lineup was strong, defeating D'Youville 4-2 to close out the Saints season. D'Youville bowled a game high 233 in the first match of the day in the second game of the match against Roberts Wesleyan.
