LODI, N.J. - The D'Youville women's bowling team completed the second of two days at the Falcon Fall Classic, hosted by Felician University, Sunday afternoon. The Saints split their four Baker matches on their way to finishing 10th overall.
D'Youville dropped their first match against St. Francis (Pa.), 774-698. The Saints showed improvement in their bye match, posting a score of 755, before falling in their third match to Adelphi, 882-819. D'Youville rebounded in their final two matches of the weekend, inching past both Wagner, 796-785, and Caldwell, 847-843.
Against Wagner, Makayla Pasierb, Alyssa Mankowski, and Emily Williams rolled 167, 166, and 165 to pace the Saints. Versus Caldwell, Mankowski had a 212 to lead D'Youville over the Cougars.
Overall, the Saints posted a total score of 7,942, good for 158.8 per game. Fairleigh Dickinson won the competition with a total score of 9,284 and an average score of 185.7. Mankowski had a 212 to lead D'Youville over the Cougars.
The Saints will return to action in the Tiger Cup, hosted by RIT, next Saturday, Nov. 20 in Rochester, N.Y.
