Sanford, FL - The D'Youville baseball team suffered a tough loss to the Colby-Sawyer Chargers by the final score of 12-0.

Colby-Sawyer began the scoring in the first inning with a run, then tacking on two more in the second to lead 3-0. In the fifth, they would explode for nine runs to lead 12-0 as they went on to win the game by the same score.

Logan Lipowski (Williamsville, NY/Williamsville East) broke up the Mustang's no-hitter in the bottom of the seventh with two outs, tallying the lone hit. Nick Jank (Orchard Park, NY/Canisius), Roberto Pagliero (Vaughan, Ont./Bill Crothers), and Zach Cocking (Batavia, NY/Notre Dame) each tallied walks.

Kyle Nash (Ancaster, Ont./Ancaster) made his first career start, pitching 4.1 innings. Jared Glowniak (Dunkirk, NY/Dunkirk) came in for 1.2 innings of relief with three strikeouts.

The Spartans will next play on Thursday as they play Penn State-Fayette 1:30pm.
