Box Score Buffalo, NY-The final home game of the season is the time to celebrate the careers of the seniors playing in their final College Center contest.
Prior to the contest's start, Head coach Earl Schunk praised the contributions made to D'Youville basketball from Kyle Clarke(Olean, NY/Olean), Jake Maryniewski(Depew, NY/Depew), and Anthony Wiechec (Buffalo, NY/St. Francis).
All three seniors were in the starting lineup. Clarke scored 13 points, Wiechec added 10 points, and Mayniewski had five points and seven assists.
In that game, the Spartans were defeated by visiting Penn State Altoona 88-78.
Jon Gemerek (Depew, NY/Depew) came off the bench to score 20 points and Marcus Clarke(Olean, NY/Archbishop Walsh) went for 15 points.
The Spartans will close the season February 22 at Mount Aloysius College.
