Greensburg, PA- The Spartans did not let Tuesday's double overtime loss to Alfred University bring them down in today's conference match against Pitt.-Greensburg but rather it made them play harder.

The first goal for the Spartans was scored by Freshman Chloe Casero (Niagara Falls, NY / Niagara Falls) with the assist from Rebecca Alvira (Buffalo, NY / Mount Mercy Academy). 

Danielle Gehen (West Seneca, NY / West Seneca West) had the second goal for the Spartans with the assist from Terra Juda (North Tonawanda, NY / Niagara-Wheatfield). Along with her assist, Juda scored the final goal for the Spartans with the assist from Lauren Walsh (Kenmore, NY / Mount St. Mary Academy).

Goalkeeper Christina Ventresca (Niagara Falls, NY / Niagara-Wheatfield) had her fifth shutout of the season which gave D'Youville the 3-0 victory over Pitt.-Greensburg.

The Spartans continue conference play with their next game Tuesday, October 1st at Penn St.-Behrend. Game time is set for 7:30PM.
