Buffalo, NY- Lady Spartans outplayed the Pitt-Bradford Panthers coming out with a 1-0 victory. Melissa LaVere (Clarence, NY/Williamsville East) scored the game's only goal in the 78th minute from 30 yards out by placing the ball in the top right corner of the net.

Goalkeeper Christina Ventresca (Niagara Falls, NY/Niagara-Wheatfield) had four saves for the Spartans and earned her sixth shutout of the season. Danielle Gehen (West Seneca, NY/West Seneca West) had three shots on goal but was unable to get one past the Panther's goalkeeper.

The Spartans are back at it again on Saturday against La Roche. The game is scheduled for 4PM and will be played at Nichols High School which is located at 1250 Amherst Street in Buffalo, NY.
