Greensburg, NY- D'Youville traveled to AMCC rival Pitt-Greensburg and ran into a hot shooting Bobcat squad that defeated the Spartans 87-71.

Greensburg opened the game with a 16-4 run in the first three and a half minutes and never looked back.  The hosts shot 55.7% percent from the floor in the game, including a healthy 53% on their three-balls.

D'Youville played an even second-half with the hosts (41-41) and cut their game-long deficit to a reachable eight points with five and a half minutes to play.

Jon Gemerek (Cheektowaga, NY/Depew) scored a team-high 14 points followed by Erik Prophet (Buffalo, NY/City Honors) with 13 points and Oliver Prince (Toronto, ONT/Jean Varnier) with 12 points.

D'Youville (2-9, 1-3 AMCC) continues their Pennsylvania conference weekend trip with a game tomorrow (Jan. 6) at Mount Aloysius College.  Start time in Cresson, PA is scheduled for 3:00 p.m.
