Marcy, NY-D'Youville trailed two sets to one to Sage and rallied to win the fourth and never trailed in the deciding game to get the win. Set scores were 25-21, 20-25, 20-25, 27-25, 15-12.

Chris Temple (Highwood, IL/Highland Park) led the Spartans with 18 kills followed by Matt Loos (Cheektowaga, NY/Maryvale) with 17 kills. Chris Krueger (Hamburg, NY/Hamburg) had 8 blocks, Alex Johnson (Clarence, NY/Clarence) 16 digs, and Jay Senozetnik (Eden, NY/Eden) dished 47 assists.

In their first match of the night, D'Youville swept Wells 3-0 (25-20, 25-22, 25-21). Temple had 11 kills and Johnson 15 digs.

D'Youville (2-0) advances to the championship round and tomorrow will face Emerson College at 10:00 a.m. and Elms College at 2:00 p.m.
