Box Score Pittsburgh, PA-Oliver Prince (Toronto, ONT/Jeam Varnier) scored a game-high 17 points to with a team-high 10 rebounds but D'Youville fell at La Roche 64-57.
Jon Gemerek (Cheektowaga, NY/Depew) and
Anthony Wiechec (Buffalo, NY/St. Francis) added 11 points apiece for the Spartans. For Wiechec that was a season-high total.
D'Youville trailed by six at the half then battled back. A Gemerek layup with 13 minutes to play gave D'Youville a 40-39 lead, their first since the opening minute of play. After trading baskets and staying with a possession of the lead for almost 10 minutes, the Spartans finished the without a field-goal in the final 3:42 of the game and was out scored 10-5 in that stretch.
