Buffalo, NY-D'Youville women's soccer won their second-straight AMCC match besting Penn State Altoona 5-0.

Rebecca Alvira (Buffalo, NY/Mount Mercy Academy) had a five-point night with two goals and an assist Danielle Gehen (West Seneca, NY/West Seneca West) also copied the feat with pair of goals and an assist for D'Youville (6-3, 2-1 AMCC). 

Samantha Giebner (Sicklerville, NJ/Winslow Township) also tallied for the Spartans and goalkeeper Christina Ventresca (Niagara Falls, NY/Niagara-Wheatfield)made five saves for her second shutout of the season.

In two games played this week Alvira totaled four goals, one a game-winner, and an assist.

The next match for the Spartans is October 3 at Pitt-Bradford.  Start time is 2:00 p.m.
