The first: Danielle Gehen (West Seneca, NY/West Seneca West) became the D'Youville College all-time leading scorer after tallying three goals and three assists. Gehen's second goal of the game in the 13th minute gave the Spartans a 5-0 lead and her the career scoring record. It was her 86th career point, moving her past the total of 84 set by Amy Dziomba (2004-2007). The nine-point night gives the third-year forward 90 points in just 39 games played.
The second: Sophomore forward Abby Blakely (Rochester, NY/Spencerport) scored six goals, breaking the school single-game record set by Amy Dziomba October 13, 2007 (5 goals in a 5-0 win at Keystone College).
The third: Aimee Pfuntner (Wayland, NY/Wayland-Cohocton) scored the team's 18th goal of the game, breaking the record of 17 set last year at Penn State Beaver.
Also having a big night was freshman Lauren Walsh (Kenmore, NY/Mount St. Mary Academy) with her first career hat trick and an assist.
The next game for D'Youville (4-1) is September 19 at Utica College.
