Oswego, NY-Men's basketball played in the consolation game of the Max Ziel/Oswego St. Tournament and was defeated by Medger Evers 100-69.

D'Youville was led by Jon Gemerek (Cheektowaga, NY/Depew) with 18 points followed by Erik Prophet (Buffalo, NY/City Honors) with 14 points and Marcus Clarke (Olean, NY/Archbishop Walsh) with 10 points. 

Gemerek was named to the All-Tournament team after totaling 29 points in two tourney games, 11 coming last night versus Oswego State.

In the game, D'Youville hoisted up a team-record 40 three-point field-goal attempts.

The next game for the Spartans is November 20 at Fredonia State. Start time is 8:00 p.m.
