Buffalo, NY-Women's soccer shutout Mount Aloysius 4-0 for their third-straight win. Melissa LaVere (Clarence, NY/Williamsville East) scored a pair of goals and Danielle Gehen (West Seneca, NY/West Seneca West) scored the games final goal giving her the D'Youville College career scoring triple crown.

The goal was Gehen's 38th of her career, passing the mark of 37 set by Amy Dziomba from 2005-2008.  Gehen became the school's assist leader October 10 when she collected career helper number 23. September 15 Gehen became the school's career point leader and has since upped her career total to 99.

Rebecca Alvira (Buffalo, NY/Mount Mercy Academy) scored her ninth goal of the season and goalkeeper Christina Ventresca (Niagara Falls, NY/Niagara-Wheatfield) made one save for her fourth shutout of the season.

Prior to the match the team's two seniors; Abby Blakely and Samantha Giebner were honored.

D'Youville (9-5-1, 5-3-1) will play a non-conference match at Alfred University October 24.  Start time is 5:00 p.m.
